Forget Me Not flowers' numerous meanings include true love, respect, devotion, fidelity and faithfulness. To King Henry IV, these tiny blue flowers also represented royalty and endurance, and to Christians they represent the Virgin Mary's blue eyes.

Forget Me Nots are a modern symbol of remembrance and grieving. They are used by the Alzheimer's Association as a symbol of memory loss awareness. They are the state flower of Alaska and the flower of Grandparent's Day.

There are several varieties of Forget Me Not flowers and most are shades of blue but they also come in white, pink, and purple.
